Māori wards are nothing to fear

With regard to Māori wards, there is nothing to fear from being fair. Upholding the rights of others ensures your rights are strengthened and protected. Upholding the voices of others and their ability to be heard ensures your voice is strengthened and heard.

When we all have a voice, we create the ability to resolve indifference and produce solutions that bring benefits to everyone. Nā tō rourou, naku te rourou ka ora ai te Iwi e.

Reducing the kaupapa of Māori Wards to an "ethnicity" is a division and diversion tactic played out by race baiting groups such as Hobsons Pledge and mainstreamed by the Act Party.

The Westminster system and institutions established in this country to form the state apparatus, its laws and institutions, is a system established from an ethnicity of Europeans/Pakeha – a system for an ethnicity/Pakeha by an ethnicity/Pakeha.
