Two events planned for today – Art in the Park and the O-mazing Race – have been postponed because of the weather forecast.

Art in the Park, scheduled for this afternoon at Sullivan Lake, is postponed until next Wednesday, January 28.

The event will still run at the same time next week, 3pm-6pm and will include the same programme: Five tutors offering creative workshops, Halo offering activities, live music, face painting, sausage barbecue and drinks, as well as ice creams, slushies and coffee, and the balloon man making his creations.

The event is hosted by Arts Whakatāne and is funded through sponsorship from Creative Communities, Creative NZ, Fonterra and Trust Horizon.

Ōpōtiki’s Mitre 10 O-mazing Race is also postponed to January 28.
