Betty
While starting a walk with hubby on Appenzell Drive, Betty tripped on the kerb and did a faceplant.
Look, Mum, no hands.
Not funny, really.
Then came Jesse to the rescue (with umbrella for sun) and another couple also out for a walk, who phoned for an ambulance.
Then a theatre nurse, just passing in the midst of shifting house, and, to top it off, my grandson and his friend spotted me as they drove past.
About eight people all up, plus ambulance staff, all offering comfort and support. Everyone was so helpful.
Thanks to you all; I’m now nicknamed panda eyes.
Can’t blame the council for this one.
Heartfelt thanks to everyone.
