While giving our new puppy and older dog a bit of exercise in the park at the end of Eivers Road this morning, there was an owner that came along right beside us with hers on an extendable lead.

The dog was a lot stronger than her, and she obviously had no control – her dog wrapped the lead (like a pallet strap) around the back of my legs and burnt one leg quite badly.

Dogs off lead and having the best time should be allowed, but if you are not able to control your dog you shouldn’t be walking it.
