Face-to-face chat at Coffee With a Cop

Organised by neighbourhood support co-ordinator Jane Fox, Coffee With a Cop was held in Edgecumbe yesterday at Manna café.
Police, Kawerau Community Patrol (KCP), and Edgecumbe residents met to discuss any issues the rural community is facing.
Community Constable Rob Jones said it was especially great having the KCP come along and support the event.
“It’s good to see that they’ve got a good, healthy, strong base with the community patrol.”
KCP also patrols Te Teko, Edgecumbe, and rural roads.
“Edgecumbe Police are out here today, too, just to catch up and talk with residents about any sort of concerns that have been happening, and getting to know people, which is just so important.”
