Ōpōtiki’s Ray White office has come away from the Ray White National Annual Awards with two national accolades, earning recognition among more than 200 offices from across New Zealand.
Held at the New Zealand International Convention Centre in Auckland on Thursday, September 10, the local office was awarded the Market Share – Regional award, placing second in the Small Property Management Office of the Year category.
Ray White Ōpōtiki was one of only three offices nationally recognised in the regional market share category, alongside Ray White Masterton and Ray White Pukehina.
Principal Bonny Collier said she was incredibly proud of the achievement and credited the Ōpōtiki community for helping the small-town office reach the level it had.
“We simply cannot deliver at this level without the continued support of our vendors, purchasers, landlords, tenants and our wider community,” she said.
“Your trust in our small-town office means more than you know, and I am incredibly grateful.”
Collier also acknowledged her team, Maree Reeve and Larissa Shaw, saying their hard work had not gone unnoticed.
“You work so bloody hard, day in and day out, and it absolutely does not go unnoticed. You deserve this recognition,” she said.
The awards brought together members of Ray White’s 202-office New Zealand network, which the company says achieved its highest-ever share of the national residential market during the past year.
Ray White New Zealand chief executive Daniel Coulson said the network had continued to build momentum despite an unpredictable broader economic environment.
“Over the past 12 months, parts of the real estate market have shown signs of steady improvement, despite the relative unpredictability of the broader economy,” he said.
“Against this backdrop, the results achieved by our members are even more meaningful.”
Coulson said the New Zealand network now accounted for one in four residential sales nationwide, while more than 23,000 properties were entrusted to Ray White offices for management across the country.
For the Ōpōtiki office, the national recognition comes as a reflection of the work being carried out by a relatively small local team, with Collier again highlighting the role of the community behind the business.
The two awards recognise both the office’s performance in the Ōpōtiki property market and its work in property management, providing a national spotlight for the locally operated business.
The Ray White National Annual Awards are held each year to recognise achievements across the company’s New Zealand network, with awards covering sales, property management, business growth, customer experience, market share and community involvement.
