Held At Home is opening three of its walks to parents, children and other caregivers during the school holidays, offering a change from its usual mums-and-bubs walks.
The first school holiday walk is today starting at 10am from Manna Cafe in Edgecumbe. The group will walk along the river before returning to Riverslea Playground for the children to play.
A second Edgecumbe walk will be held on Friday, October 9, also at 10am.
Held At Home will also hold its first Whakatāne monthly walk on Tuesday, October 6, starting at 10am from River Edge Park and heading towards the bridge before returning through the Rose Gardens.
The school holiday walks are free and relaxed, with bikes and scooters welcome.
