A thrift market featuring 27 vendors selling pre-loved clothing will be held at Manna Cafe in Edgecumbe tomorrow.

The market will run from 10am to 2pm at the cafe in Riverslea Mall, with the entrance on Bridge Street.

Cafe owner Ali Edwards said the idea came after she saw a similar market while visiting Brisbane and thought it would be something worth doing locally.

Shoppers can expect a variety of clothing, with all ranges of women’s sizes, children’s clothing and baby clothes, with some vintage pieces also expected.

The event follows a “mums and bubs” clothing event held by the cafe in June, which saw plenty of clothing successfully rehomed.

If tomorrow’s market goes well, the cafe will likely hold one every couple of months.
