KILFORD Franklyn ‘Ross’ — On Saturday 18th April 2026, Ross passed away in Whakatane Hospital surrounded by his family, aged 80. Loved and cherished brother of Beth and Malcolm (dec), and Moira and Lloyd Warr (Tasmania). Cherished uncle of Sandi and Geoff, Daniel and Diana, Darren, Sharon and Matt, James (dec) and Christopher and Megan, loved great-uncle of his many grand nieces and nephews. Ross worked for Pak'n Save Whakatane for over 20 years and was known to many in the Whakatāne community through his trolley job. He will be greatly missed by his family. Special thanks to the team at Whakatane Hospital for all the care and support they provided to Ross during his last few days. A celebration of Ross’ life will be held at the Whakatane Baptist Church, Keepa Road, Whakatane on Wednesday 22nd April (today) at 11am, followed by burial at Hillcrest Cemetery.
