TONG Janette Patricia — On Saturday 10th October 2026, peacefully, aged 85. Beloved wife of Arthur for 63 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Vicky (dec), Craig and Leonie, and Peter and Roz. Adored Nana of Jasmine, Megan, Brooke, Brayden, and Hamish. Special thanks to the team at EBOP Hospice, Peter and Libby from Ohope Beach Pharmacy, Janette's carers Rhonda and Dors, and the team at Doctors Kopeopeo. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to EBOP Hospice and may be left at the service. A celebration of Janette's life will be held in the chapel of Willetts Funeral Services, 21 King Street, Whakatane on Friday 16th October at 2pm, followed by a private cremation.
