WINGATE Gilda Elizabeth (nee Millen) (Jill) — On Sunday, 8 June 2025, peacefully at Whakatane Hospital aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of the late William (Bill). Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Fred and Selena, Kate and Stephen. Doting Grandma of Maia, Lucas, Matthew and Daniel. Treasured friend to many. A big thank you to all the doctors and nurses who have supported her over the years. In accordance with Jill’s wishes a private cremation will be held followed by a memorial celebrating Jill’s life at 211 Gow Road, Opotiki on Saturday, 14 June 2025 all welcome after 1.30pm.
