RIESTERER Josephine Wairangi (Josie) — On Saturday, 16 August 2025, peacefully at Thornton Park Retirement Village aged 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Don. Mother and mother-in-law of Graeme and Nancy, Bryan (dec) and Suzanne, Lyn and Katerina. Grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. A funeral service for Josie was held in St John’s Union Church on Tuesday, 19 August 2025 followed by burial in the Opotiki Cemetery (Waitangi).
